





The UAE Rugby Federation presented the achievement of the men’s team winning the gold in the eighth Arab Championship, which concluded yesterday evening in Al Ain, and the women’s team winning the silver, in an achievement achieved for the first time, to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, the first supporter For the sport of rugby in the country, due to the interest of His Highness in this sport, and the provision of all support for its appearance at a distinguished level during the tournaments in which it participates.

The city of Al Ain will host the meetings of the General Assembly of the Arab Rugby Union, headed by Qais Aldhalai , on the sidelines of the Arab Rugby Sevens Championship for men and women, hosted by the Game Federation in cooperation with the Arab Game Federation at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club, on Saturday for two days.

The UAE youth and female teams won the two gold medals and two cups of the Asian Rugby Sevens Championship under 20 years old, which was held in Angrin, Uzbekistan, after the youth team defeated Uzbekistan 34-0 in the final, and the women’s team defeated India 31-0.
